This programme has been developed by a qualified Women's Health Physiotherapist and is designed to support pelvic health rehabilitation through guided exercise and education.
This programme does not replace a full assessment by a qualified healthcare professional.
If you are unsure about your symptoms, diagnosis, or suitability for this programme, you should seek an assessment from a registered physiotherapist or healthcare provider.
You can find a specialist via the Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy directory.
It is intended to support self-management but should be used alongside, or following, appropriate clinical advice where needed.
You should not rely solely on this programme for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
By participating in this programme, you acknowledge that:
This programme provides general guidance and progression but cannot account for all individual factors or medical conditions.
This programme assumes that you are able to correctly activate your pelvic floor muscles, following the guidelines and instructions included in the "pelvic floor basics" section.
If you are unsure whether you are performing the exercises correctly, it is strongly recommended that you seek a face-to-face or virtual assessment with a qualified physiotherapist before continuing.
This programme collects information such as symptom scores, quality of life measures, and progress data to support your rehabilitation and track improvements. This data may be used for research purposes but only with further consent to do so.
All personal data is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
While this programme is based on clinical experience, clinical outcomes and standard practice principles, no specific outcomes can be guaranteed.
Progress will vary between individuals depending on factors such as adherence, overall health, and correct exercise performance. Length of symptoms prior to commencing the programme is directly correlated to the amount of time to see an improvement.
You should seek further professional advice if:

Use of the Service does not create an ongoing clinician–patient relationship or replace individualised assessment, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional.
This programme is provided from the United Kingdom by a UK-based Physiotherapist, but it is intended for general educational and self-management purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, as all advice is generalised and not individualised.
Access to this programme from outside the UK is at your own initiative and risk. Physiotherapy (physical therapy) is a regulated profession in many jurisdictions, including but not limited to the United States, Canada, and Australia, each with its own licensing and legal requirements. This programme is not intended to provide physiotherapy services in any jurisdiction where such services would require local registration or licensure.
Nothing within this programme should be interpreted as establishing a clinician–patient relationship. The content is not tailored to individual circumstances and should not be relied upon as a substitute for assessment, diagnosis, or treatment by a healthcare professional licensed in your country or region.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the provider accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the use of this programme outside the United Kingdom or in jurisdictions where its use may not comply with local laws or regulations.
If you have any concerns about your health, or if your symptoms worsen or persist, you should always seek advice from a suitably qualified healthcare professional in your local jurisdiction before continuing.
